Token Creek Conservancy committee selects MaraLee Olson as landscape architect, approves routine minutes and financials

At its Dec. 3, 2024 meeting, the Village of Windsor Token Creek Conservancy Committee approved several procedural and procurement items, including selection of a landscape architect for Culver Springs and routine approvals of meeting minutes and financial reports.
Bruce Stravinski moved to approve the Oct. 1, 2024 minutes as presented; Paula Brandmeier seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Peggy McCallen then moved to accept the financial reports as presented; Barb Bauer seconded and that motion also carried unanimously.
On the Culver Springs improvements, the committee reviewed proposals and voted to accept the proposal from landscape architect MaraLee Olson. Bob Wipperfurth moved to accept the proposal; Paula Brandmeier seconded. Committee members noted the selection requires Village Board approval before work proceeds and that a working group will likely be formed to collaborate with the architect. Staff asked interested committee members to email their interest to staff so the working group can be established.
The meeting adjourned at 5:20 p.m. after a motion by Paula Brandmeier, seconded by Barb Bauer; the motion carried unanimously.
