At its March 2 meeting, the Onley Town Council accepted a proposed two-year lease extension for the town office building at Four Corner LLC after the existing lease expired Feb. 28, 2026.
Town Manager Susan Rillo presented the lease terms: $2,534.52 in year one and $2,610.56 in year two. Rillo told council the town would remain responsible for the two-year rent obligation even if the new town office building is completed before the lease ends. Council voted unanimously to accept the lease (motion by Jason Campbell; seconded by Brian Corbin).
Council members noted limited options for alternative office space and directed staff to proceed under the terms presented. The lease acceptance was accompanied by scheduling of a March 23, 2026 budget workshop to review fiscal implications for the next fiscal year.
The council did not amend lease terms during the meeting.
