The interlocal agreement states that Waco will make available $31,787 to McLennan County from the total JAG award of $70,637. The agreement specifies that Waco will use $38,850 for law enforcement purposes and the County will use $31,787 for law enforcement equipment through Sept. 30, 2028.
County Judge Scott M. Felton submitted the interlocal document and the Court accepted and recorded the agreement as part of its consent agenda. The agreement cites authority under the Interlocal Cooperation Act (Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code) and references CFDA 16.738 for the FY25 JAG program.
