Lancaster board approves Allegiant Oil as diesel provider for 2025; adopts consent agenda

The Lancaster Community School District Board of Education on Dec. 11 adopted its meeting agenda and approved consent items before selecting Allegiant Oil as the district's diesel fuel provider for 2025.
President Mike Steffel called the regular monthly meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., and District Administrator Wagner confirmed proper notice. Board member Tanya Moore moved to adopt the agenda; Nate Gallagher seconded and the motion carried by voice vote, 8-0-0.
Under the consent agenda, the board approved the minutes of the Nov. 13, 2024 regular meeting, open accounts payable totaling $220,981.47, and paid accounts payable totaling $603,771.65. Board member Nate Gallagher moved to approve the consent agenda; Sara Mumm seconded and the motion passed on a roll-call vote of 8-0-0.
On an action item, Gallagher moved and Andrew Taylor seconded to approve Allegiant Oil as the district's diesel fuel provider for the 2025 calendar year. The board also agreed to adhere to a fixed price for the calendar year. The motion carried on a roll-call vote of 8-0-0.
Board member Jerry Vesperman moved to adjourn the meeting; Gina Rollins seconded and the motion carried by voice vote. The meeting adjourned at 7:34 p.m. The minutes were signed and respectfully submitted by Dean J. Noethe, Board Clerk.
