The Lauderdale Lakes Lake Management District approved a five-year lease for 38 slightly used golf carts to serve the course and district operations, including provision for water-patrol and weed-harvester use. The single bid came from Club Car (Brown Service).
Terms recorded in the minutes: $188 per cart per month for 38 carts (annual total $42,864) and a separate "carry all 502" utility/work cart at $428 per month ($2,568 annually). Water-patrol and weed-harvest crews will be responsible for the costs of carts assigned to their operations.
The lease motion passed on a motion by Dean Bostrom with a second from Don Sukala.
