The Village of Windsor Public Works Committee voted unanimously Aug. 13 to recommend the Village Board approve a change order adding pavement markings to the recently completed 2024 street resurfacing work.
Committee member Tom Phelps moved to recommend approval of the change order; Committee member Kitty Repas seconded and the motion carried 5–0. The change order applies to the resurfacing of South Meixner Road, which was pulverized and repaved from CTH V to Mueller Road, and would add pavement markings on South Meixner Road and on Wernick Road.
Village Engineer Nick Bubolz told the committee the resurfacing project itself is complete and described the change order as an addition to the finished work. The committee’s recommendation sends the change order to the Village Board for final approval.
No public comment or objections were recorded during the committee’s consideration. The committee’s recorded vote was five in favor, zero opposed.
The next procedural step is Village Board consideration of the recommended change order.
