A staff presentation described the contract language and noted the study would evaluate three identified sites; an attendee pointed out a spelling error in the draft contract language and a council member asked whether alternate sites might be included. Committee staff said the ad hoc joint facilities committee recommended proceeding only with the three identified sites at this time and not pursuing alternates.
The resolution records that Greene County's Facilities Building Committee voted on Dec. 5, 2024 to approve the feasibility study and to pay the city's share. The council voted to approve the contract as presented.
The agreement directs that the cost of the feasibility study be split 50/50 between the city and Greene County, and it authorizes city officials to complete the contract steps needed for the study.
