A representative of the Cabot County Sheriff's Department briefed the North Beach Town Council on February activity during the March 12 meeting: deputies generated 54 calls for service in North Beach during February 2026, down from 67 in January, and reported 632 self-initiated calls.
The representative listed several incident types summarized in the monthly report: three DUI arrests (one including a CDS violation), a number of assault reports and at least one traffic arrest. Council members asked for the more detailed Excel breakdown of calls by category; Town Clerk Stacy Myler acknowledged the spreadsheet was sent and asked council members to alert her if it was missing from board docs so it could be uploaded for review.
The council did not take action on the report but thanked the sheriff’s representative for the monthly update and asked that the detailed call log be included in the next packet.
