Trustee Paige Henning moved to approve Eide Bailly LLP as the district's audit firm and to pay fees as indicated in the attached proposal; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
On a separate personnel matter, administration recommended exercising its right to nonrenew a nontenured teacher without cause and presented an addendum listing the teacher to trustees. A motion to nonrenew the nontenured teacher was moved, seconded, and approved by voice vote. The district official presenting the personnel item emphasized that nonrenewal decisions are taken with time and consideration and affect school staffing; no individual personnel details were discussed in open session.
