The Planning Commission reviewed a use permit application from Paul and Marilyn Stoney for an inground pool and patio at 12847 Redbird Ridge and recommended that the Town Council approve a preliminary use permit with multiple conditions.
The commission’s recommendation requires that the applicant meet the requirements set forth in a letter from Town Engineer Joe McClellan dated April 16, 2018; obtain ARB approval if necessary; if Fairfax County does not allow the proposed pool cover, install a fence meeting ARB and safety requirements; return for a final use permit after construction showing that all requirements and county permits have been satisfied; provide copies of all permits to the town; and pay all costs associated with the Town Engineer’s review. The Planning Commission’s report was accepted by the council at the May 8 meeting.
