At the June 8 meeting, the Conservation/UW‑EX Education Committee approved its agenda (motion by Collette Sorgel, second by Linnaea Newman) and approved the May 11, 2026 minutes (motion by Robb Jensen, second by Collette Sorgel); both motions carried with all ayes.
The committee unanimously forwarded the Wisconsin Conservation Congress State Convention Report to the County Board Chair for placement on the County Board agenda. Later, Michele Sadauskas reported a redistributed resolution (now with a Finance Office fiscal impact statement) proposing a citizen member on the CUW Committee; Linnaea Newman moved and Collette Sorgel seconded a motion to present that resolution to the full County Board as a non‑consent agenda item, and the motion carried unanimously.
No recorded roll‑call of individual yes/no votes was provided in the minutes beyond 'all ayes'; the motions were recorded as carried.
