The Chair described the emergency operations plan as a "75 page document" required by OBI and said a printed copy will be available in the superintendent’s office for any trustee or concerned parent to review; the board noted that the full document itself is not being distributed in meeting materials but staff (Dave or Lauren) can answer general questions.
On benefits, the Chair said the district met with benefits staff (Beth Wardell and Amy Courser) to narrow ancillary coverage options; the district remains committed to bridge medical, and the insurance committee will decide on additional options such as vision, dental, life and disability in the coming days.
Trustees noted resignations in athletics (two staff, listed as Travis and Bryce) and said open interviews are scheduled next week to fill coaching positions; staff will bring an update on hires at a future meeting.
The board set the regular May board meeting for the 13th and agreed to schedule a brief special meeting or a canvass between the 19th and 29th to certify election results if needed.
