Peck school board approves Chartwell’s contract, adopts new graduation rules and accepts teacher resignation

NEOLA policy updates — first reading Board Member Collins moved and Board Member Kosal supported approval of the first reading of NEOLA updates. The board recorded the motion as unanimous. The first reading indicates the updates were introduced for review and may return for a subsequent vote or additional review.
Graduation requirements changed Board Member MacMillan moved and Board Member Kosal supported a motion to approve new graduation requirements beginning with the class of 2030. The motion passed unanimously.
Resignation accepted Renee Alfaro moved and Board Member Collins supported a motion to accept the resignation of elementary specials teacher Anna Evelend, effective June 5, 2026. The board approved the resignation unanimously.
