Landover Hills to mail $250 Giant Food gift cards to residents through Feb. 1 enrollment

The Town of Landover Hills will distribute $250 Giant Food gift cards to eligible town residents as part of a Food Gift Card Program announced at the Nov. 17 council meeting.
Town Manager Rommel Pazmino told the council the program is limited to Landover Hills residents and that the $250 gift cards will be mailed to households. He said printing delays at the vendor are slowing mailings; the program will remain open for applications through Feb. 1, 2026.
Pazmino also briefed the council on unrelated IT work: the town’s NTI email migration has been rescheduled to Nov. 28 and device setup, training and password resets will be handled individually through a portal.
The council did not take a formal vote on the gift-card program at the Nov. 17 meeting; implementation details and eligibility verification will be handled by town administration.
