He said the design now includes a widened 10‑foot buffer, crushed-stone ground cover in front of the fence (replacing mulch), a board fence to provide visual buffering, and added street trees. Tim said the team incorporated the comments DRB offered at a prior meeting.
Board members asked about tight vehicle circulation at entry and exit, the number and placement of light fixtures (the team said two fixtures are shown and they worked to avoid spillover), and tree health and spacing; the board recommended evaluating an existing tree with an arborist and expanding or replacing plantings if necessary. The DRB will send a memo of comments to the Planning Board ahead of the project's Planning Board appearance scheduled in the coming week.
The meeting did not include a DRB vote on the site because the Planning Board has jurisdiction for final approval; the board's record will reflect the suggested landscaping and operational comments.
