Okauchee Lake Management District elects officers; John Foley instated as commissioner

At an Aug. 26, 2024 meeting held at the Town of Oconomowoc Town Hall, the Okauchee Lake Management District elected Brian Sichi as secretary and Doug Larson as treasurer, nominated Tom Godar as chair, authorized destruction of the election ballots and announced John Foley's instatement as commissioner after receiving 33 votes.
The Okauchee Lake Management District met immediately after its annual meeting on Aug. 26, 2024, at the Town of Oconomowoc Town Hall and elected officers and recorded the outcome of the district election.
During roll call commissioners present were Dee Schriver, John Foley, Bruce Mueller, Brian Sichi and Doug Larson; Tom Godar was absent. D. Schriver opened the meeting at 8:24 p.m.
D. Schriver nominated Brian Sichi to serve as secretary; Bruce Mueller seconded the nomination. There was no further discussion and the motion carried unanimously. B. Sichi accepted the nomination and will serve as Secretary.
Bruce Mueller nominated Doug Larson for treasurer and B. Sichi seconded. That motion also carried unanimously and D. Larson accepted and will serve as Treasurer. D. Schriver nominated Tom Godar, who was absent, as chairperson; John Foley seconded the nomination and the motion carried unanimously. The meeting record states that T. Godar will serve as Chairperson.
D. Schriver announced that John Foley had received 33 votes in the district election and would be instated as commissioner for a three-year term from 2024 to 2027.
Bruce Mueller moved to destroy the evening's voting ballots and D. Larson seconded; the motion carried unanimously. D. Schriver then moved to adjourn, J. Foley seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 8:41 p.m.
The minutes list Pat Furno and Stefanie Anderson as also present. No votes against or abstentions were recorded in the minutes; the record states the motions passed "all were in favor."
