New London School District board approves custodial contract and routine items; custodial vote 6–1

On athletics, the board approved the 2026–27 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) annual participation agreement, which includes recognition of Catalyst Academy’s affiliation that allows its students to participate in district athletic programs.
The board also approved the 2026–27 school fee schedule with no changes from the prior draft.
The board approved the annual 4K community collaborative services agreement with a daycare partner that provides one morning 4K section; funding for that section will be adjusted based on fall enrollment and applicable state funding.
Facilities work approved for summer includes sealcoating, patching (including eight infrared patches) and striping at multiple sites, including high‑school walkways and areas around the new concession stand. Presenters said scheduling will be coordinated with roofing work and athletic schedules to minimize disruption.
Before adjourning into closed session, Speaker 3 moved the board into closed session under Section 19.85(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes to discuss continued employment of certified support staff over which the board has jurisdiction; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call.
