Board members discussed options to reduce recurring replacement costs, including ordering custom plexiglass backboards or switching to metal hoops. Staff noted the original backboards were donated and that community fundraising had helped pay for earlier installations. No formal procurement decision was made at the meeting; staff recommended evaluating options and returning with recommendations.
