Langford Community Management presented the city's final draft comprehensive plan and next steps for adoption. Jeri Conrado said the plan, which includes the future land‑use map and implementation and capital improvement outlines, is nearly through the review process and will be on the planning & zoning agenda on Aug. 4 with a target for council adoption around Aug. 10 before final review by the Texas General Land Office.
Conrado said the plan supports the city's grant and impact‑fee work and contains appendices and a portal link for public comments. Council members noted the document's length and asked staff and consultants to flag any outstanding requirements; staff said they would present zoning and related regulatory text for review.
