The outgoing presiding officer announced they would not run for another term and nominated Bill Ganger for president. Bill Ganger accepted the nomination; after nominations were closed members voted verbally in favor and the chair announced Bill Ganger was elected president.
The board then nominated and elected Bob Rollinger as vice president. The staff member presenting the budget said she would work with county finance to transfer signatory authority for contracts that exceed staff authority (roughly $300,000) to the new president, with the vice president as backup.
The board did not take additional personnel actions at the meeting and the chair closed the nominations after the voice votes.
The new officers will assume the duties associated with the presidency and signatory responsibilities for high‑value contracts as the county processes the paperwork.
