Franklin County EMS reports January revenue, board approves $15,010 warranty package

Franklin County EMS Chief Christi Hilliker presented the department's January 2026 operational report to the Board of Commissioners on March 11, 2026, reporting adjustments of $63,117.59 and that the department collected $168,594.91 in revenue for the month.
Hilliker reviewed call types, times and geographic distribution of calls as part of the operational summary. Commissioner Ianne Dickinson moved and Commissioner Donald Stottlemire seconded a motion to approve the January adjustments report; the board voted unanimously to accept the report.
Hilliker also recommended purchasing two extended warranties: a POWERPRO-PROCARE 60-month warranty for $4,940.00 and a POWERLOAD-PROCARE 72-month warranty for $10,070.40, for a total of $15,010.40. Hilliker said the warranties provide annual maintenance at no additional cost as well as repair coverage. Commissioner Donald Stottlemire moved and Vice Chair Rod Harris seconded the purchase; the motion passed unanimously.
The meeting minutes show the report and purchase were accepted; no follow-up dates or additional budget authorizations were recorded in the minutes.
