Selectboard orders review after deed and tax-map show different acreages for Hunters Bridge Road parcel

Staff said the most recent property-card history shows the 24-acre number prior to subdivision but that a 2006 submission to Cartographics appears to have recorded 18.4 acres by mistake. The board asked staff to retrieve the original deed and compare it with the original subdivision plan; if the map entry is in error, staff should contact Cartographics to request a correction.
Why it matters: Acreage recorded in deeds and tax maps affects property taxes, current-use designations and permitting. The board directed staff to research the original records and return with a recommendation on whether a formal map correction is required.
