Barbara Schmall told the Commission that Brownsboro Village was granted Tree City USA status. She said Jack Baggett with the Kentucky Forestry Department and the city’s arborist will attend the Tree Board meeting on March 7, 2025 at 406 Lotis Way. Commissioner Fay Dorval suggested the city consider donations to the Nature Conservancy and Operation Brightside.
During announcements resident Tracy Carnes asked the city to remove concrete pyramids from an easement area. Treasurer Brian Shanks reported lamppost outages and said he had reported them to LG&E. The minutes do not record formal actions on the pyramids or a timeline for lamppost repairs.
