Mayor Mark Joyce read Municipal Order 25‑1 retroactively appointing Ethics Administrator Dana Lindley during the Feb. 11 meeting and distributed an Attorney General’s Certificate of Distribution on managing government records along with materials on the Kentucky Open Records & Open Meetings Act.
Commissioner Maryellen Howley reported that the Kentucky League of Cities recommended the city amend its meeting ordinance so that if a person with a disability requests to attend a meeting, the Commission will host the meeting at an ADA‑compliant location. Mayor Joyce suggested formally amending the meeting ordinance, and Commissioner Howley requested that ADA verbiage be included in the next Meeting Ordinance draft for Commission consideration.
