Bromley council approves routine reports, orders repairs and pays bills

The Bromley City Council on July 9 approved routine items including minutes and committee reports, heard short police and fire summaries, and approved payment of bills.
At roll call the council confirmed attendance by Mike Kendall, Andrew (Andy) Clift, Dave Radford, Tim Wartman, Dianne Wartman and Kelly Dudley. Police Sgt. Brian Dewaine noted a hit-and-run on Shelby that investigators later attributed to a driver who confessed and is currently incarcerated. Fire Chief Mike Steward said a full fire report is available on request.
Councilmember Dianne Wartman said hall-area painting will begin July 14 with subsequent basement improvements, and Dave Radford said pothole-repair supplies have arrived and will be stored at the public-works garage. Planning & Development Services (Andy Clift) reported ongoing enforcement actions at 305 Main and continuing overgrowth at 102 Kenton and 231 Shelby; the owner of 231 Shelby has paid fines but has not yet remedied the overgrowth.
Bills were approved on a motion by Mike Kendall, seconded by Dave Radford, and the meeting adjourned at 7:12 p.m.
