Bromley public works resignation announced; new council member sworn in

Public Works employee Bob France informed the council that he will resign from his role effective January 2025. That personnel announcement was recorded under new business at the Dec. 11 meeting.
Separately, the council swore in Kelly Dudley as a new member for a two-year term. The minutes record the swearing-in ceremony and the council's acceptance of Kelly Dudley to the council.
Council members also discussed local parking and speed-bump issues. Council member Andy Clift said Officer Jack Prater stopped him regarding parking in an area where a church had placed pole signs for "CHURCH PARKING"; Council member Dave Radford said the church had placed pole signs and Mayor Denham instructed that the signs be removed. Radford also reported that contractor L and M will plow streets with the speed bumps in place, so the council concluded there is no need to move speed bumps for winter operations.
The minutes also record Hall Committee updates (new clock, basement concrete work) and public-works activity (memorial banners installed, leaf and litter cleanup). The pickleball court was noted as scheduled for spring work on the asphalt company's calendar.
