Town Manager Sara J. Liscomb called the meeting to order at 6 p.m. and said R. Hemenway moved to elect G. Harrington as chair; the motion was seconded and approved 2-0. The board then approved minutes from June 30 and June 18, warrants dated July 10 and July 11, the Treasurer’s Report dated July 11, 2025, and the Tax Collector’s Report; those approvals were recorded as 3-0. The Treasurer’s snapshot showed a Trio-General Ledger balance of $860,580.01 (7/11/2025) and a 6‑month certificate of deposit at $105,382.87.
The board signed the Schoodic EMS contract, recorded as signed 2-0 in the minutes. The meeting also addressed municipal operations: after discussion, the Selectmen voted 3-0 to discontinue the yellow town trash bags and move to the use of trash stickers only.
