Great Bay Steward Org contacted Resource Waste’s environmental engineer and reported there may be another public meeting; T. Rettburg said an April 12 decision deadline might be postponed, which could allow more public involvement and time to assess potential financial impacts.
C. McDade asked whether any subsequent public meeting would be with the Epping Planning Board; Rettburg said it sounded like it would be with DES. The Commission noted that Brentwood, an abutter, had submitted a letter to DES requesting a delay. Commissioners discussed next steps, including clarifying what Newfields wants from the conversation and how to engage residents.
