The board also reviewed a proof of the Town Report and the Notice of Polls.
Selectman Michael Borden moved to approve the consent agenda; Selectman George Rainier seconded. The board voted 3-0 in favor, after which members finished signing documents. The minutes do not specify the appointee to the Oak Park Committee; the appointment was included as part of the consent agenda.
During a work-session portion of the meeting beginning at 5:45 p.m., members discussed open positions on boards and committees. The board noted the Planning Board in particular needs volunteers to run for election and considered allowing write-in candidates to fill vacancies if no candidates file. The board assigned warrant articles from the Town Warrant to individual Selectboard members so each member can address questions from voters at Town Meeting.
Selectman George Rainier moved to adjourn at 7:37 p.m.; Selectman Michael Borden seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
The board did not take votes on policy matters beyond approval of the consent agenda; items related to vacancies and warrant-article assignments are preparatory for Town Meeting.
