Commission tables $77,000 Covington Center Arena roof repair after warranty concerns

Commissioner Holmes moved to table the proposal until the next meeting; Commissioner Tommy McGaha seconded. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioners did not adopt a funding plan at the meeting and directed no immediate contract award.
The record shows the commission intends to revisit the matter during budget deliberations; staff said the alternate warranty option was available to pursue outside the current proposal.
