Trustee Lee Hammen moved and Trustee Marcia Trentlage seconded approval of Change Order #2 to MCC, Inc. for $26,150.00 related to the 2023 Grading & Graveling Blue Development project; the motion passed unanimously. The board also approved Certificate for Payment #5 to MCC, Inc. for $71,498.01 on the same project after a motion by Trustee Hammen and second by Trustee Tom Gaffney.
For the Kimberly Street & Parks Department building, Trustees approved two change requests to SMA Construction Services: Change Request #4 for $823.92 (moved by Trustee Trentlage, seconded by Trustee Hammen) and Change Request #5 for $138,092.18 (moved by Trustee Trentlage, seconded by Trustee Gaffney). Both motions carried by unanimous vote.
President Chuck Kuen opened the meeting at 5:00 p.m. and noted that work on the Streets & Parks building is progressing, with walls now going up.
The board took no separate discussion items beyond the motions and recorded the unanimous approvals. The meeting later entered a closed session on unrelated property acquisition matters and reconvened without action.
