Charlestown redevelopment board nominates officers, designates clerk-treasurer as authorized representative and ratifies 2021 bond payments

CHARLESTOWN — The Charlestown Redevelopment Authority met March 11, 2026, at City Hall, with Mayor Treva Hodges presiding. Board members Maggie Wild and Shannon Elder were present; Donna Ennis was absent. Clerk-Treasurer Donna Coomer and legal counsel for the city and commission were listed as present.

Mayor Treva Hodges led the meeting and swore in appointees Maggie Wild and Shannon Elder. During the meeting, members nominated officers: Maggie Wild nominated Shannon Elder for president; Shannon Elder nominated Maggie Wild for vice president; and Donna Ennis was nominated as secretary. The transcript records the nominations and the meeting's signature block lists Shannon Elder as president, Maggie Wild as vice president and Donna Ennis as secretary.

The board approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Board Member Maggie Wild, seconded by Board Member Shannon Elder; the motion passed 2-0. In standing business, the board voted 2-0 to table approval of the minutes from Feb. 2, 2021, on a motion by Wild and seconded by Elder.

Under new business, the authority adopted Resolution 2026-R-01, designating Clerk-Treasurer Donna Coomer as the Redevelopment Authority's authorized representative. The resolution was approved on a motion by Maggie Wild, seconded by Shannon Elder, and recorded as passed 2-0.

The board also voted 2-0 to ratify all bond payments from 2021 after a motion by Wild and a second by Elder.

Maggie Wild moved to adjourn the meeting; Shannon Elder seconded and the motion carried 2-0. The meeting minutes include a signature block reflecting the officer titles.
