City Clerk Donna presented the list of applicants who had applied at the prior appointment round; commissioners discussed two finalists, nominated Karen Nolan and moved to appoint her. The motion carried unanimously. Staff said Nolan's appointment will not count as a first full term and will expire on Jan. 31, 2027.
The board consists of seven members who serve two-year terms; this appointment fills the remainder of a vacancy created after the last round of appointments.
