Clarke County board moves $15,000 in intra-department transfers, approves weekly claims

Dean Robins moved and Brian Sorensen seconded Resolution 26-104, amending appropriations to move $5,000 from the Attorney department to the Sheriff Department; the board voted unanimously to approve. Res. 26-105, moved by Brian Sorensen and seconded by Dean Robins, amended appropriations to transfer $5,000 from the Juvenile Justice department to the Emergency Management Department and was approved unanimously. The board also approved Res. 26-106, moved by Dean Robins and seconded by Brian Sorensen, to transfer $5,000 from the General Supplement Fund to the Emergency Management Fund; that motion likewise passed on a unanimous vote.
The board then approved Resolution 26-107 to pay claims submitted June 16–22, 2026. The minutes record the full claims list (selected items include OHair Automotive, parts, $13,476.45; Solutions, equipment, $10,808.90; Calhoun-Burns, bridge services, $5,314.50; Homestead, meals, $4,910.29; and Amazon, supplies, $193.49). The minutes do not provide a single aggregate total for the claims docket.
All budget motions and the claims approval were recorded as unanimous votes by Chairman Randy Dunbar and Supervisors Dean Robins and Brian Sorensen. The meeting adjourned at 9:45 a.m.
