State Representative Debra Tendrich, who represents District 89, spoke to the Cloud Lake Council during the public-comment period about her priorities for the 2025 legislative session and her outreach plans.
Tendrich outlined the committees and subcommittees on which she serves, including the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee and subcommittees addressing natural resources and disaster, information and technology, budget and policy areas such as healthcare and student academic success. She said she intends to hold town-hall meetings and advocacy workshops during the session and to return to the council at the end of the session for a legislative round-up. Tendrich also described her nonprofit, Eat Better Live Better (www.eblb.org), which she said works to help feed the community; she announced an open house on Jan. 25 at her Forest Hill Boulevard office.
Her remarks were delivered as informational public comment; no council action followed directly from her presentation.
