Cloud Lake Council approves consent agenda and authorizes mayor to sign 2025 election agreement

At its Jan. 9 meeting, the Cloud Lake Town Council approved the consent agenda, accepting the Dec. 12, 2024 meeting minutes and the Jan. 9 Clerk’s and Financial Reports, and later authorized Mayor Russ Nidy to sign the 2025 Municipal Election Agreement required by the Supervisor of Elections.
Council Member Kathleen Hoock moved to approve the consent agenda; Council Member Alexandra Powell-Sardinas seconded. The motion passed unanimously among those present (4-0), with Council Member John Tyson absent. On the election agreement, Hoock again moved and Powell-Sardinas seconded authorization for the mayor to sign; that motion also passed 4-0 with Tyson absent.
The minutes and financial reports were accepted as presented; the meeting record did not include any roll-call detail beyond the 4-0 tallies. The council took no additional related action at the Jan. 9 meeting.
