She told the commission she has air-quality monitor readings that spike during suspected chemical events and that she has contacted Seminole County code enforcement, the county health department and the EPA without a resolution. Roberts said she was assaulted by a neighbor on Oct. 26 and believes the contamination incidents may be malicious.
"I have air quality monitors as evidence," Roberts said, summarizing her contacts with multiple agencies and her declining health. She asked the commission to help after saying she has exhausted other resources.
The mayor/commissioners acknowledged receipt of her complaint and said staff would follow up.
What's next: City staff indicated they would get someone to follow up with Roberts; no formal action or referral was recorded during the meeting.
