The councilor said they had visited the Pleasant Valley Civic Group during a registration night and were advised to coordinate dates with John Ellis, the civic group's president. "One of the things that was discussed was to talk to the Pleasant Valley Civic Group... John Ellis, the present president," the councilor said, urging early contact to secure dates in April, May or June. The committee will run a short survey to gauge interest and may run promotional material in the Pleasant Valley flyer and on the city website.
Council members discussed distribution options for the newsletter and agreed the clerk could coordinate publication timing; the Parks & Recreation representative said the short surveys (5–10 questions) are intended to determine community interest before committing to programming or fundraising investments.
