The Revere City administration withdrew a proposal for a tourism destination marketing district from the zoning subcommittee agenda July 13, citing the need for more research.
The clerk read a July 2 communication from Chief of Planning Tom Skorowski saying the administration "does not feel like the tourism management district is ready for council deliberation" and requested the matter be tabled. The chair noted a planning-department staffer had texted the meeting to say the department needed more time for study.
Councilors acknowledged the withdrawal without substantive debate. The item will not proceed to the full council until staff completes additional research and advises the administration on next steps.
