The Attica Redevelopment Commission voted to schedule the next mowing of the city-owned property for the beginning of August.
Committee members reported the contractor completed a mowing on June 13. A member summarized the contractor's request for payment and pricing: "So $800 for the 1st and then $300 as long as we didn't let it get to be where it was at this bad last time." A committee member moved to have the contractor mow in August and the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote; no opposition was recorded on the transcript.
The commission noted frequency for subsequent cuts remains to be determined and that the schedule should be driven by need and weather. The chair said the commission wants to "stay on top of it."
