At 154 Hilldale staff said two occupants remain in a house without water service; staff plan to consult the city attorney about eviction and legal options, and the city can offer the occupants the option to restore service at their expense. For 162 Hilldale staff reported structural problems but said family members may be willing to secure the property and later demolish buildings if needed.
Council members discussed expanding targeted clean‑up and indicated willingness to consider limited spending for removal in the worst cases. Staff said they will coordinate with the city attorney on legal pathways, pursue title searches where needed and return with recommended next steps.
