At the June 17 meeting Chester Williams introduced Lola Campbell and said she will assist on town land-use matters; Campbell identified herself as a sixth-generation Hilton Head Island resident and Ward 1 resident.
Campbell said she is "happy to add another hat" and looks forward to working with the commission. After public comment, commissioners moved to nominate leadership for the coming year; nominations for chair (Tom) and vice chair (Alan, as nominated on the record) were seconded and approved by unanimous voice vote.
The commission adjourned after approving leadership and hearing staff reports were none that evening.
