Glendo council approves routine minutes, communications services and several permits

The Glendo Town Council at its April 16 regular meeting approved routine agenda items and several operational contracts and permits.
Early in the meeting the council approved the agenda, March 12 meeting minutes, the March treasurer's report and April claims (motions by Kelly Jones and Jeston Cundall; recorded as unanimous).
The council approved Rocky Mountain Fire Systems alarm monitoring services for $52 per month to provide fire alarm monitoring, and approved Jabber phone services for town hall and the library at $109.80 per month. Both services were approved by motion of Kelly Jones, seconded by Jeston Cundall, with the minutes recording "All in favor. Motion is carried."
On permits, the council approved an Angler's building permit and granted Angler's permission to use its retail liquor license in Wheatland for the King of the West Truck Fest May 25-26. The council also approved a 24-hour Malt Beverage permit for the Trading Post for the July 5 Ranch Rodeo on arena property and authorized the Trading Post to operate a food truck on town property for the event. All permit motions were recorded as approved without recorded opposition.
The minutes do not record contract durations for the communications services, a vote tally by individual member, or any dissenting comments; they indicate routine unanimous approvals.
