The Elm Grove Plan Commission on April 6 recommended that the board of trustees approve plans of operation and conditional use permits for two medical clinics proposed at 15330 Watertown Plank Road in the Wellness Grove building.
Dr. Tess Jordans, who identified herself as a doctor of osteopathic medicine, said her practice would bring in‑person midlife women's health services to supplement an existing telehealth practice. “This will allow me to see patients in person,” Jordans said. Commissioners asked about signage and dumpster arrangements; Jordans said the building has an existing sign and she was not requesting additional signage.
Jordan Steedy, a clinical psychologist, said he plans to relocate patients from his current practice to a new Milwaukee Anxiety Center location in Unit 4 and confirmed proposed daytime hours (applicant indicated about 10 hours per day).
Village staff (Ethan) told commissioners the building comprises seven units, of which five small businesses have been approved to occupy the space since late 2024; staff estimated the building can support peak on‑site occupancy (15–16 people) and that the site provides 28 parking spaces. Commissioners discussed clarifying hours of operation for the trustees’ record.
Both applicants were recommended for approval by the commission in separate motions; the commission noted the items will go to the board of trustees for a public hearing on April 8. The commission’s recommendations were unanimous.
