Mayor David Stiffey requested a $1.00 hourly pay increase for Police Chief Jason Franks and Deputy Chief Elhubishi "to have the Police positions' pay range spread by position responsibility"; Commissioner Eric Schroader moved to approve the raises, Commissioner Bob Buehl seconded, and the motion passed 5‑0.
In old business, Commissioners approved final payment of $39,777 for the city's 2024 RAM police truck (motion by Commissioner Eric Schroader, second by Commissioner Maurice Marr, vote 5‑0). Commissioners approved a $1,796 contract with American Legal Publishing Co. to update city ordinances (motion by Commissioner Bob Buehl, second by Mayor Stiffey, vote 5‑0).
Under new business, the Commission authorized purchase of an additional rear City Hall police camera for $456 (Mayor Stiffey moved; Commissioner Buehl seconded; vote 5‑0). Commissioners also approved payment of Scotty's paving invoice for $84,167.25 (motion by Commissioner Marr, second by Commissioner Cartwright; vote 5‑0).
