Applicant Rune Johnson introduced himself as founder and owner of Rune Savory and described plans for a commercial kitchen and outdoor liquor service paired with food at Mega Pickle. Johnson identified himself as a Minnetonka resident and said he was excited to grow locally.
Council member Calvert moved and Romilly seconded a motion to continue the public hearing to Aug. 10 for final consideration. The roll-call vote to continue carried unanimously.
What happens next: Staff will complete standard background and license checks and present findings and a recommendation at the council’s Aug. 10 meeting for final action on the liquor licenses.
