Staff said the proposed changes—Badlands Drive to Clearwood Drive and Big Sky Lane to Fieldview Lane—have been reviewed and approved by GIS/911 for addressing and do not present conflicts with existing names.
A planning staff member presented the subdivision map and explained the roads are undeveloped and part of the previously approved preliminary plat. Commissioners asked how duplicate names are avoided; staff explained GIS works with 911 to check the county database and ensure no duplication.
A motion to approve the name changes was made, seconded and carried during the meeting. No public comment was recorded on this item.
