The Lawrence City Housing and Economic Development Committee on July 13 voted to table a request (item 29326) to discontinue the public use of Hubbard Place. Planning staff notified the committee that the Planning Board is scheduled to meet Aug. 5 and had asked that the committee defer action until the board’s input is available.
Councilor Franklin Miguel moved to table the matter; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. Committee members asked staff to include planning board materials and to return the item when the Planning Board’s review is complete.
The tabled status means the committee will not take further action on the discontinuance until Planning Department materials and the Planning Board’s recommendations are provided.
