Josh Holt of Central Garage said vehicle orders were delayed earlier in the year when Ford closed its ordering window, but the current order window was open and vehicles are expected to arrive in August or early September. "We probably won't get them until August early September, but at least we'll have them for the year," Holt said.
A board member moved to grant Central Garage permission to advertise bid 2601 for police utility interceptors from June 13, 2026, to June 20, 2026; the motion passed by voice vote.
