The city council liaison told the commission the council passed revisions to a solar-panel amendment that clarify grouping and color language so staff can approve some installations administratively while preserving review for unusual designs; the liaison framed the change as allowing staff flexibility while maintaining safety and aesthetic controls.
The liaison also congratulated Rob (Robert) Jergill on his city council win and noted a swearing-in ceremony on April 28; commissioners discussed leadership rotation and expressed thanks for outgoing members' service.
